The "2 Days and 2 Nights of New Music" International Festival of Modern Avant-garde Art traditionally takes place in Odessa in the middle of April. Like the "Humorina" festival, the city's birthday is a unique Odessa holiday. Odessa Time began in 1794 when Catherine the Great signed an edict for the establishment of our city and so "Odessa New Year" - the City's Day - is celebrated on the 2 nd of September. |
