From Odessa Central Bus Terminal (58, Kolontayevskaya Str), one can take a bus to any part of Ukraine. Daily, more than 200 tours depart from the terminal. Buses also go to international destinations, including Moldova, Russia, The Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Belorussia, Germany, Spain, and Azerbaijan.
Passengers can purchase tickets from different transport companies. Between April and September, one major company that makes international trips and services throughout Ukraine is Odesautotrans. From April to September, Odesautotrans buses take travelers to the Moldova, Russia, Belorussia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Germany. By the end of the tourist season buses depart to Prague (2 times per week) and to the Russian cities of Krasnodar, Rostov and Pyatigorsk. Tickets for all Odesautotrans buses can only be purchased at the bus terminal. It is impossible to book them by phone (but an internet service is being developed). Transglobal company provides tours to Spain (Barcelona, Valencia, etc.), Czech Republic (Prague), Bulgaria (Varna), Germany (Berlin, Cologne), Azerbaijan (Baku), Russia (Kaliningrad), and also to Kiev. Tickets can be ordered by phone: 8 (048) 787 38 19, 8 (048) 787 20 43.
The company Autolux specializes in tours to Kiev. Buses depart from Odessa International Airport and picks up passengers at Odessa Central Bus Terminal. In Kiev the bus stops at the bus terminal and then the terminal at Kiev's Borispol airport. Departures from Odessa airport are at 06.45, 11.45, 21.45 and 23.05. Departures from Odessa Central Bus Terminal are at 7.30, 12.30, 22.30, and 23.55. Tours marked VIP are performed by a VIP class bus that goes to Kiev without stops in other cities. The majority of buses departing from Odessa Bus Terminal do not have onboard toilet facilities, and beverages or other snacks for sale. However, these buses make frequent stops at cafes and rest areas enroute. Cups of hot tea, juice, and snacks are available on the larger, more comfortable buses like those making the Odessa-Kiev journey.
Taxis next to the bus terminal are ready to drive passengers to any part of the city. Cheaper transport options are provided by nearby fixed-route minibus taxis, trolleybuses, and, from next to the Bus Station, a tram which follows a route to Odessa Train Station and then on to Arcadia Beach. Using these services it will take 15-30 minutes to get downtown or to the railway station. It takes 30-40 minutes to walk to central Odessa from the Central Bus Station.

NOTE: Although operational, Odessa Central Bus Station is currently under reconstruction. When complete, there will be a hotel on the 3rd floor and a room for mothers and children (50-70 UAH per day). A waiting room for VIP-passengers is to be opened on the 2nd floor. Until this construction is complete, all passengers may use the waiting room on the ground floor where there is a post office, a bank branch, and shops selling souvenirs, newspapers, and magazines. There are bars and cafes on the ground (and, after reconstruction, the 2nd floor) where you can have a reasonably priced snack and buy food for your journey.
